With The Friedkin Group ready to sell, Everton could find themselves in the hands of new ownership courtesy of American candidates.

The Friedkin Group has announced its decision to put Everton up for sale less than two years after completing their takeover in December 2024. Following the announcement, American billionaires the Dell family are reportedly considering joining the race to launch a takeover bid for the Premier League club.
The Dell family, who previously supported a bid backed by Andy Bell and George Downing, hold significant financial resources and prior investment experience with Sunderland and Crystal Palace via MSD. The report suggests an impending takeover race valued around £1bn could provide a major boost to manager David Moyes.
