Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been one of Everton's standout performers so far this season and has long made it clear that he wants to play for England…
England manager Thomas Tuchel addressed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's omission from the national squad for upcoming Nations League fixtures against Croatia and Spain. Tuchel stated that the Everton midfielder was very close to selection and praised his quality, but noted that intense competition in attacking midfield positions ultimately kept him out of the final group.
While Dewsbury-Hall missed out, Everton teammates Jordan Pickford, Jarrad Branthwaite, and James Garner received call-ups from Tuchel. Dewsbury-Hall expressed his ongoing desire to represent England while shifting his immediate focus to helping Everton secure a victory against Coventry City ahead of the international break.
