Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has backed Jordan Pickford to remain England's first-choice goalkeeper through Euro 2028. Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, Robinson supported the Everton goalkeeper despite increased competition and scrutiny during the international break. Pickford returned to the lineup to keep a clean sheet in England's 3-0 Nations League victory against Czechia at Wembley.
Manager Thomas Tuchel recently gave James Trafford an opportunity in goal, which Robinson questioned ahead of Pickford's return. Pickford has now earned 91 senior caps with 46 clean sheets for England and will be 34 years old when Euro 2028 takes place.
