Everton's American owners are seeking investment - or a complete sale - of the Merseyside club

The Friedkin Group has confirmed that Everton are up for sale, announcing that they are exploring external investment options, including the potential sale of a controlling interest. The American ownership group stated that having stabilized the Merseyside club's finances and secured the stadium, they will entertain offers from parties capable of serving as the right stewards to lead Everton forward.
TFG originally acquired Everton in December 2024 following the departure of former owner Farhad Moshiri. On the pitch, manager David Moyes' side has maintained an unbeaten record ahead of their upcoming fixture against Hull, despite supporter frustration regarding summer player sales such as Iliman Ndiaye and Beto.
