Everton manager David Moyes revealed summer signging Christian Norgaard apologised to him after making his debut for the club against Chelsea last weekend…

Everton midfielder Christian Norgaard apologized to manager David Moyes after an underwhelming debut off the bench against Chelsea. The summer signing, who joined from Arsenal, came on late as Everton chased an equalizer but was partially at fault for Pedro Neto's goal. Moyes acknowledged the Denmark international looked off the pace after lacking a full pre-season.
Moyes noted that Norgaard is further away from full match fitness than hoped, likely needing until after the next international break. The Everton boss also mentioned considering shifting Jack Grealish into an inside role, while remaining cautious about managing the workload of sole recognized striker Thierno Barry.
