Everton received a double blow before kick-off at the Emirates Stadium with two of their important players ruled out…

Everton are without Jarrad Branthwaite and Jack Grealish for their Premier League match against Arsenal. Grealish was ruled out due to sickness, while Branthwaite is sidelined after colliding with goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez during Everton's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. Everton manager David Moyes had also previously revealed that Branthwaite had sustained a knock against Hull City.
Jake O'Brien enters the starting lineup to replace Branthwaite at center-back, while Tyrique George steps in on the left wing for Grealish. Additionally, Ainsley Maitland-Niles dropped to the bench against his former club, with Merlin Rohl shifted to right-back behind the returning Brennan Johnson.
