Every word from Cristiano Ronaldo’s bombshell statement as he slams ‘broken promises’

Cristiano Ronaldo released a detailed personal statement addressing his departure from the Portugal national team training camp, citing broken promises made by manager Jorge Jesus. Ronaldo stated that Jesus had agreed to specific playing time and communication plans, including having Ronaldo warm up against Norway without playing him. Ronaldo also criticized the head coach for failing to follow through on commitments regarding how the situation would be publicly explained.

Ronaldo apologized to the Portuguese supporters and his teammates for walking away from the squad and acknowledged he should face punishment from the Portuguese Football Federation. However, the captain confirmed he is not retiring from international duty and plans to remain available to represent Portugal after serving any disciplinary sanction.
