Rico's wife, Alba Silva, said in an Instagram post on Tuesday that their family was "safe" and that she was "still in shock".

Former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Sergio Rico and his family were subjected to an armed robbery at their home in Seville on Monday night. At least four armed men entered the property, kicked down a bedroom door where the family tried to hide, and took a significant amount of belongings. Rico's wife, Alba Silva, confirmed on social media that the family is safe.
The Seville police force confirmed that a formal report has been filed regarding the incident. The 33-year-old Spanish goalkeeper, who previously played for Sevilla, Fulham, and Al-Gharafa, was subjected to physical aggression alongside his wife and mother-in-law during the break-in.
