‘He’d want to join’ – Expert claims Liverpool star would be open to joining Euro giants

Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz could reportedly be open to joining Bayern Munich if the German club revives its interest. Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown suggested that Wirtz has struggled to adapt to the physicality and tempo of the Premier League since his transfer from Bayer Leverkusen in 2025. Despite the speculation, Liverpool remains reluctant to sell the 23-year-old midfielder ahead of the January transfer window.

Bayern Munich insider Christian Falk reported that the German champions are not currently planning a move for Wirtz, though they continue to monitor his situation. Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola reportedly wants Wirtz to stay and is experimenting with his role.
