After just six Premier League matches as Fulham manager, Alvaro Arbeloa is a dead man walking. Or in the words of one source close to the dressing-room, a 'dead man strutting'.

Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa is facing severe pressure after remaining winless and bottom of the Premier League table through six games. Dave Kidd reports that some players view the Spaniard as a 'dead man strutting' following tactical miscues, including late substitutions that resulted in a 2-1 defeat at Ipswich Town. While owners Shahid and Tony Khan are reportedly worried, they remain reluctant to make a swift managerial change.
According to Kidd, senior players have grown dissatisfied with Arbeloa's training and tactics, highlighting a growing disconnect between the Spanish coaching staff and the squad. The report notes that Vitor Pereira and Thomas Frank are potential candidates to replace Arbeloa if Fulham decide to make a switch.
