Arsenal and Manchester City are locked at the top of the Premier League table - for now

Former midfielder Samir Nasri previously defended his transfer from Arsenal to Manchester City, calling the abuse he received from Arsenal supporters "stupid." Nasri stated that players prioritize their careers and that joining City was the best choice to win silverware, rather than a decision driven purely by money.
Nasri moved to Manchester City for £24 million after joining Arsenal from Marseille for £12 million in 2008. During his time with City, the French midfielder won two Premier League titles and multiple domestic cups, while expressing gratitude to former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
