Leif Davis lamented the fact that Ipswich Town were unable to see off Hull City after a dominant first-half display at the MKM Stadium.
Ipswich Town left-back Leif Davis expressed frustration following a 2-2 draw away at Hull City, arguing that his side deserved all three points. Ipswich led at halftime courtesy of Florentino, but Hull responded with second-half goals from Tim Iroegbunam and Oli McBurnie. A long-range equalizer from Julio Enciso ensured the points were shared at the MKM Stadium.
Davis lamented two sloppy goals conceded and felt the team should have been more clinical during a dominant first half. He also claimed referee Thomas Kirk conceded that a foul on Dara O'Shea should have been awarded as a penalty. Despite the disappointment, Davis highlighted Ipswich's strong start, which leaves them on 11 points after nine matches.
