Fabio Wardley’s coach Rob Hodgins backs the Suffolk heavyweight to reclaim his world title from Daniel Dubois in their O2 Arena rematch, by any means necessary.
Head coach Rob Hodgins has backed heavyweight boxer Fabio Wardley to defeat Daniel Dubois and reclaim his world title at the O2 Arena. Wardley enters the rematch seeking revenge after suffering an 11th-round stoppage loss to Dubois in May, which marked the first defeat of his professional career.
Hodgins noted that Dubois has legitimate reasons to be confident following notable career victories. However, the trainer highlighted Wardley's demonstrated ability to learn from previous mistakes and make necessary tactical adjustments, comparing the situation to Wardley's first-round knockout victory in his rematch with Frazer Clarke.
