Ipswich Town youngster Josh Hammond wins Man of the Match award and praised for his performance for loan club Soham Town Rangers.
Ipswich Town youngster Josh Hammond was named man of the match for his performance while on loan with Soham Town Rangers over the weekend. The 17-year-old defender played the full 90 minutes in a 2-0 victory against Cornard United in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division.
Hammond, a second-year scholar who joined Ipswich Town at the under-9 level, moved to the Step 5 club on loan last month. Operating as a holding central midfielder, he earned the away supporters' player of the match award and received praise from Soham manager Lance Key.
