Ipswich Town goalkeeper Kayne van Oevelen has suffered a knee injury, and his season-long loan spell at Spanish side Valencia could reportedly end early in January. The 23-year-old sprained his right knee during training and is expected to miss two to three weeks of action.
Van Oevelen is yet to make his debut for Valencia, where he competes with Stole Dimitrievski. Reports indicate Ipswich can recall him without a financial penalty in January if he starts fewer than half of their matches before Christmas.
