Ipswich Town have long been one of the most famous football clubs on the planet - and now a new global power ranking has determined exactly where they sit among the world's best.
Ipswich Town have been ranked as the 37th best football club in the world according to Opta's global power rankings. The statistical model places the Blues ahead of notable European sides such as Lazio, AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Galatasaray, and Ajax.
Opta determines the rankings using a hierarchical Elo-based rating system that assesses match results and expected goals across leagues globally. The list is led by Premier League champions Arsenal, followed by Bayern Munich, PSG, Manchester City, and Barcelona, while local rivals Norwich City sit in 223rd position.
