‘We can frustrate Man City’ – Town ‘keeper Walton on Town’s approach at the Etihad

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Christian Walton previewed his team's upcoming Premier League fixture against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. Walton stated that Ipswich enters the match with full belief and hopes to frustrate the league leaders. Set for his first career start away at Manchester City, the 30-year-old shot-stopper acknowledged the significant challenge of facing striker Erling Haaland, who has scored 10 goals in nine appearances this season.

Walton also praised Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as one of the best in the world. Addressing external attention regarding Manchester City's financial breaches and charges, Walton emphasized that the situation has not affected Ipswich's preparations or dressing-room focus. With three league wins secured following strong recruitment and pre-season training, Walton expressed confidence in Ipswich's ability to compete and maintain positive momentum.
