Newcastle boss Matthias Jaissle has apologised to the travelling fans following their 4-1 loss at Coventry, as Jamie Carragher said they were "beaten up" once again on the road.

Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle apologized to traveling supporters after his team suffered a 4-1 Premier League defeat against Coventry City on Monday. The result marked Newcastle's second consecutive 4-1 loss away from home, following a similar defeat against Leeds United, and pushed the club down to 11th place in the table.
Pundit Jamie Carragher criticized Newcastle's lack of physicality on Monday Night Football, stating that Jaissle's side had been beaten up in their last two away matches. Coventry secured the victory with four goals despite Newcastle dominating possession and recording 19 shots, with Sven Botman scoring the Magpies' sole goal.
