In light of Bruno Fernandes being dropped to the bench Jamie Carragher believed several Manchester United players would enjoy playing without him…

Jamie Carragher claimed on Sky Sports that several Manchester United players do not enjoy playing with Bruno Fernandes after the midfielder was dropped by Michael Carrick. Fernandes was benched for United's fixture against Bournemouth at Old Trafford following his public criticism of the manager's tactical decisions.
Carragher argued that Fernandes' on-pitch gestures convey negative signals to his teammates, suggesting the squad could benefit from playing without him. Although Carrick stated the benching was football-related, Fernandes started among the substitutes alongside Matheus Cunha and Joshua Zirkzee.
