Tenerife striker Jesus De Miguel tragically passed away earlier this week…

Tenerife president Rayco Garcia has made a financial promise to support the partner and young daughter of striker Jesus De Miguel following the player's tragic death. The 30-year-old forward passed away on Tuesday from accidental chest trauma after an on-pitch collision with Andorra FC goalkeeper Jesus Owono during Monday's fixture.
Speaking to the squad after De Miguel's funeral, Garcia pledged that the striker's daughter would never lack anything and urged the team to support his girlfriend, Maria. The player's family expressed gratitude for the widespread support through a statement read by agent Manuel Hernandez.
