Alexis Mac Allister reacts to Real Madrid, Man City interest – ‘one of the best clubs in the world’

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has addressed transfer interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City, reaffirming his desire to remain at Anfield. The 27-year-old Argentine admitted he hopes to sign a contract extension beyond his current deal expiring in 2028, despite Liverpool not yet offering fresh terms.

Mac Allister noted that although Real Madrid admire him and Manchester City considered him as an alternative to Enzo Fernandez, he is happy under manager Andoni Iraola. He reiterated that he intends to honor his remaining two years at what he calls one of the best clubs in the world.
