Liverpool scouts reportedly attended Borussia Dortmund's recent 3-0 Bundesliga victory over Paderborn to watch midfielder Felix Nmecha. The 25-year-old Germany international came off the bench in the 65th minute of the match and scored two goals. Liverpool continues to maintain a detailed dossier on the player, who is also reportedly being monitored by his former club Manchester City.

Borussia Dortmund is expected to demand between €80m and €90m (£68.6m to £77.2m) to consider selling Nmecha, who has four years remaining on his contract. Former Premier League winner Robert Huth noted that Nmecha would suit Liverpool under manager Andoni Iraola. Liverpool did not sign a midfield replacement after selling Curtis Jones to Inter Milan in the summer.
