Mikel Arteta says he has been compiling footage of other managers leaving the technical area during games…
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is one booking away from a one-match touchline suspension ahead of Sunday's clash against Liverpool. Arteta received his second yellow card in eight Premier League games during Saturday's 2-0 victory over Everton, having previously been cautioned against Sunderland. A third yellow card would trigger an automatic one-match ban under league disciplinary rules.
The disciplinary concern comes after Arsenal lost an appeal against a three-match suspension for 16-year-old Max Dowman, who was sent off in Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie against Fleetwood. Speaking after the Everton win, Arteta claimed he is compiling footage of rival managers routinely leaving technical areas without receiving cautions.
