Bournemouth's steadfast refusal to sell Alex Scott is softening, with the England midfielder continuing to refuse offers to sign a new contract at the south coast club, Sky Sports News has been told.

Bournemouth are reportedly softening their stance and will consider offers exceeding £80m with add-ons for midfielder Alex Scott in the January transfer window. The 23-year-old England international has continued to turn down offers to sign a new contract, with his current deal set to expire in just over 18 months. Chelsea and Liverpool are retaining serious interest in securing a permanent transfer for the midfielder.
While Scott is not agitating for an exit, he remains ambitious about exploring opportunities at bigger clubs. However, head coach Marco Rose insisted that Scott remains fully committed to Bournemouth. The midfielder is currently sidelined for several weeks after aggravating a thigh tendon injury during his full England debut.
