‘Couldn’t have been closer!’ – Pino smashes the bar as Palace hunt opener

Crystal Palace pushed for an opening goal against Liverpool as Yeremy Pino hit the crossbar during their Premier League fixture. However, Liverpool took a 1-0 lead after Alexis Mac Allister headed home a free kick delivered by Dominik Szoboszlai.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson also produced a key save to deny a volley from Daichi Kamada. Elsewhere in the match, Thiago received a red card following a VAR review for a forearm clash.
