Fabian Hurzeler felt his Brighton & Hove Albion side were hard done by as they went down to a 2-0 Premier League defeat at Anfield…

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler claimed his team deserved more from their Premier League defeat against Liverpool at Anfield, insisting his side was the only one actively trying to create and win the game. Liverpool secured their first home league victory of the season thanks to quick first-half goals from a Pascal Gross own goal and an Alexander Isak strike.
Despite Brighton being limited to just one shot on target, Hurzeler praised his players' overall performance and belief while acknowledging defensive mistakes and a lack of efficiency in the final third. He credited Liverpool defenders Araujo and Kerkez for blocking shots and defending the penalty area effectively.
