Fabrizio Romano reveals Liverpool’s stance on Giorgi Mamardashvili

Fabrizio Romano reported on his YouTube channel that Liverpool remain really happy with goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, despite ongoing uncertainty in their goalkeeping department. The update comes as starting goalkeeper Alisson Becker faces a serious possibility of departing at the end of the season amid interest from multiple countries.

Mamardashvili previously joined Liverpool for around £30 million from Valencia before taking over backup duties following Caoimhin Kelleher's departure. Liverpool also recently agreed to spend £30 million on 18-year-old KRC Genk goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans, adding further competition to their long-term options between the posts.
