Jamie Carragher has gone back on his previous remarks about Andoni Iraola's Liverpool not being real Premier League title contenders this season…

Jamie Carragher has reversed his stance on Liverpool's Premier League title prospects under manager Andoni Iraola, moving from initial skepticism to cautious optimism. Carragher stated in his Telegraph column that expected punishments from Manchester City's financial charges case make it inconceivable that Pep Guardiola's side will remain title contenders, creating an opening for rivals.
Carragher initially doubted Iraola's appointment due to his lack of European experience and silverware before leaving Bournemouth. However, following Liverpool's strong start in the Champions League and ahead of a key match against Arsenal, Carragher believes the Reds are positioned to challenge for the title.
