He is most well-known for his time on the football pitch and in front of the cameras, but now Jamie Carragher is eager to help some of the city's most disadvantaged kids

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has spoken about his commitment to tackling youth poverty across Liverpool and the North West. Reflecting on his upbringing in Marsh Lane, Bootle, Carragher emphasized the importance of supporting disadvantaged children and keeping vital local youth clubs open.
Alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Coady, Carragher co-founded the Football for Change initiative in 2021, which has raised more than £1.5 million. The charity is scheduled to host a fundraising gala on Saturday, November 14, at the M&S Bank Arena, featuring performances and a Q&A session with Gary Neville.
