Liverpool U21s and U18s experienced mixed fortunes on a busy day for the Academy on Saturday afternoon…

Jayden Danns scored the equalizing goal as Liverpool Under-21s fought back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Kingsmeadow. After Chelsea took an early lead through Harrison McMahon and Sol Gordon, Will Wright netted his tenth goal of the season before Danns struck early in the second half to claim a point.
Earlier in the day, Liverpool Under-18s suffered a 6-3 defeat against Manchester United at Carrington despite an impressive long-range goal from 15-year-old midfielder Luca Eden. Finn Inglethorpe and Erik Farkas also contributed to Liverpool's tally, but four goals from United's Jaume Camacho-Sidos sealed the home side's victory.
