Jeremie Frimpong has again been linked with a Liverpool exit as the injured star's Anfield struggles continue…

Theo Squires of the Liverpool Echo argues that Jeremie Frimpong is struggling to establish himself at Liverpool amid persistent injuries and growing speculation about an exit. Frimpong, who joined from Bayer Leverkusen for £29.5 million in 2025, has made only 26 Premier League appearances and is currently dealing with his fifth layoff. Squires contends that replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah in a system not suited to a wing-back placed the Dutch player in a difficult position.
Recent Middle Eastern reports link Frimpong with a potential permanent move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, now directed by former Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes. With Ronald Araujo usurping him and Conor Bradley nearing a return from injury, Squires writes that Frimpong is running out of opportunities to save his Anfield career before the January transfer window opens.
