Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Brighton & Hove Albion winger Kaoru Mitoma as he approaches the final year of his contract. Contract extension talks have stalled, raising the possibility that Brighton could sanction a permanent transfer in January rather than risk losing him on a free transfer next summer when his deal expires in June 2027.
Neither club has made a formal approach yet, though Tottenham could offer a reunion with manager Roberto De Zerbi and Bayern Munich are also tracking the player. A potential January exit remains complicated by Mitoma's ongoing recovery from a severe hamstring injury suffered in May.
