A roadmap which would see new investors take over full control of Liverpool from Fenway Sports Group has emerged…

Amit Bhatia's 1892 Holdings consortium is approaching a December deadline to finalize the acquisition of an initial 38 percent minority stake in Liverpool from Fenway Sports Group. The deal, valued at £3 billion, is awaiting final regulatory approval from the Independent Football Regulator, with options reported for the group to eventually expand its ownership to 69 percent or complete a full buyout.
Former Liverpool chief executive Peter Moore stated that such an investment paves a realistic path to full ownership for Bhatia, who already serves as club vice-chairman. Meanwhile, FSG is reportedly considering a £2 billion move to acquire a majority stake in the Cadillac Formula 1 team.
