Adam Wharton's current Crystal Palace contract dosen't expire until the summer of 2029, but that hasn't stopped him being linked with a move to Liverpool

Former Liverpool forward Stan Collymore has urged Liverpool to target Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton over Bournemouth's Alex Scott. Collymore argued that Scott's playing style overlaps with Florian Wirtz, whereas Wharton offers the defensive work rate and tactical discipline needed to protect Liverpool's back four.
Scott has been linked with a £100m January transfer following earlier interest from Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United. Meanwhile, Wharton remains under contract with Crystal Palace until 2029 and has also attracted interest from Manchester City and Manchester United.
