Liverpool striker Jayden Danns was on the bench for the Champions League win over Villarreal on Tuesday evening…

Liverpool Under-21 head coach Rob Page confirmed that striker Jayden Danns is "ready to go" as the club manages his minutes following several injury setbacks. Danns was named on the bench for the third consecutive Champions League match during Liverpool's 4-3 victory against Villarreal at Anfield on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old forward has not played for the first team since September of last year due to serious hamstring and back issues. Danns has been rebuilding match sharpness with the Under-21 squad, featuring in the EFL Trophy and five Premier League 2 fixtures.
