Liverpool seek to make it three wins out of three in this season’s Champions League as they play host to Villarreal at Anfield tonight. The Reds have already won at home to Spanish opposition in the tournament, beating Atletico Madrid…

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has made six changes to his starting lineup for Tuesday's Champions League match against Villarreal at Anfield. Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha have been handed starts, while high-profile stars Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz drop to the substitutes' bench. Lewis Koumas leads the attack alongside returning winger Cody Gakpo, while Kostas Tsimikas replaces Milos Kerkez in defense.
The rotations follow a costly 2-1 victory over Brentford, where both Dominik Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong suffered injuries. Frimpong is not expected to return until after the November international window. Alongside Isak and Wirtz, Liverpool's substitutes include Bradley Barcola, Joe Gomez, Freddie Woodman, Luke Chambers, Jayden Danns, and Michael Laffey as the club targets a third consecutive European victory.
