Liverpool are desperate for midfield reinforcements, and they could soon bring in an exciting star.
Liverpool are reportedly considering Aston Villa midfielder Johan Manzambi as a potential replacement for Alexis Mac Allister in the upcoming winter transfer window. Amid midfield struggles under Andoni Iraola and an ongoing contract dispute with Mac Allister, Spanish outlet Fichajes claims Liverpool plan a permanent transfer for the 21-year-old Swiss international while seeking to sell Mac Allister.
Manzambi joined Aston Villa for a club-record fee exceeding £50 million and has registered two goals and three assists in five appearances. Swiss outlet 4-4-2.ch reports Liverpool remain long-time admirers, though Aston Villa are expected to demand a significant profit if approached.
