Real Madrid are considering a move for Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk if he becomes available on a free transfer next summer. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish giants are monitoring the 35-year-old Netherlands international as his contract situation at Anfield remains unresolved, though no formal negotiations or offers have been initiated yet.
Van Dijk could leave Liverpool without a transfer fee when his contract expires at the end of the 2026-27 season. AC Milan, Inter Miami, and Galatasaray have also been linked, while Real Madrid previously signed former Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate on a free transfer.
