Liverpool playmaker has failed to perform since his summer move and may be heading back to base as soon as January…
Liverpool and Valencia have reportedly discussed the early termination of Harvey Elliott's season-long loan deal following a difficult start in Spain. The 23-year-old playmaker has yet to start a La Liga match under head coach Javier Aguirre, recording zero goals and zero assists. His struggles escalated over the weekend when he was sent off just nine minutes after coming on as a substitute against Villarreal.
Reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes indicate that Elliott could return to Anfield in January if he fails to meet tactical and off-the-ball expectations. The midfielder remains under contract with Liverpool until 2028, having previously spent time on loan at Aston Villa before being sent to Valencia by Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola.
