Liverpool are at risk of losing a key defender at the end of the season, and he has now spoken.
On-loan Liverpool defender Ronald Araujo has addressed his uncertain future, noting that whether he remains at Anfield beyond this season is not entirely up to him. The 27-year-old Uruguayan international has established himself under manager Andoni Iraola, featuring effectively at right-back amid team injuries.
Araujo is currently on loan from Barcelona, with Liverpool holding a €55 million (£47 million) option to make the transfer permanent. While the defender expressed gratitude for the support from fans, the club faces a decision on whether to trigger the purchase clause before next season.
