Liverpool are reportedly ready to outspend Chelsea in order to steal a world-class star. What a signing this could be.
Liverpool are reportedly preparing to outbid Chelsea to complete a permanent transfer for AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara in 2027. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Liverpool contacted Monaco and the player near the transfer deadline to indicate that an offer would arrive in 2027.
Chelsea reportedly had a €55 million deal nearly completed before Monaco stepped back, and the London club will reportedly not increase that valuation. Anfield Watch argues that Camara would solve Liverpool's current midfield control issues following the departure of Curtis Jones.
