Liverpool have reportedly increased their interest in a 21-year-old playmaker. He's making waves in European football already.
Liverpool have reportedly intensified their interest in 21-year-old Galatasaray playmaker Aleksey Batrakov, according to Teamtalk. The Russian midfielder, who joined the Turkish side in the summer following an impressive spell in the Russian Premier League, recently scored his first UEFA Champions League goal in a 4-2 win over Lille.
Batrakov is reportedly not expected to stay in Turkey long term, drawing attention from clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal. Anfield Watch notes that Batrakov would face stiff competition at Anfield from Florian Wirtz and incoming talent Samuel Martinez, making any potential permanent transfer complex.
