Trent Alexander-Arnold has struggled to cement his place under Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid and one former Liverpool star believes the England international could be welcome back to Anfield…

Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore believes Trent Alexander-Arnold could be welcomed back to Anfield despite his controversial departure. The 28-year-old full-back has struggled for regular playing time at Real Madrid under manager Jose Mourinho, completing 90 minutes in La Liga just once this season while competing with Denzel Dumfries and Federico Valverde.
Collymore suggested that Liverpool fans would forgive Alexander-Arnold if he handled a return well, while naming Bayern Munich as another viable transfer alternative. The England international is under contract in Madrid until 2031, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City also reportedly monitoring the situation.
