WHAT a pulsating first half we saw as Liverpool locked horns with Arsenal at Anfield. And what an advert it was for the Premier League as the Gunners went on to notch a narrow 1-0 win. But the first half…

Former Premier League referee Mark Halsey argued that Liverpool was wrongly denied a penalty during Arsenal's 1-0 win at Anfield. Halsey expressed disbelief that VAR did not advise referee Andy Madley to review an incident where Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber pulled the shirt of Alexander Isak inside the penalty area.
Halsey also reviewed other key moments, stating that Liverpool midfielder Trey Nyoni could have received two yellow cards during the first half. A goal from Kai Havertz secured the victory for Arsenal, sending them clear at the top of the Premier League table.
