Man United WAGs ‘forced to cancel night out’ after Lisandro Martinez’s bombshell outburst targeting club bosses – as Michael Carrick stresses both sides have ‘moved on’ after defender’s public apology

Manchester United players' partners reportedly cancelled a planned night out at Hale restaurant Cibo following Lisandro Martinez's public criticism of club executives. Martinez had voiced frustration with technical director Jason Wilcox and the board after a 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid, citing inadequate summer transfer support for manager Michael Carrick. The dinner, expected to feature Muri Lopez, Fern Hawkins, and Ana Pinho, was called off to keep a low profile.

Manager Michael Carrick stated that the club has moved on after Martinez acknowledged his mistake and issued a public apology. Carrick confirmed that the controversy would not serve as a distraction, noting that Martinez is set to be included in the squad for Sunday's fixture against Leeds.
