Man Utd in talks with Brazil star’s agent amid Premier League scramble for his signature

Manchester United have reportedly contacted the agent of Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque ahead of the January transfer window. The 21-year-old Brazil international's representative, André Cury, confirmed interest from several European teams, with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur also monitoring the forward. Palmeiras are seeking a permanent transfer fee of at least €50 million (£44 million) for the attacker, who has scored 29 goals in 96 appearances since arriving from Barcelona.

United manager Michael Carrick is seeking attacking reinforcements following an injury to Benjamin Sesko. In addition to their forward pursuit, the club is also exploring a potential permanent transfer or loan deal with an option to buy for Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde, who is valued at around €40 million (£33 million).
