Bournemouth's steadfast refusal to sell Alex Scott is softening, with the England midfielder continuing to refuse offers to sign a new contract at the south coast club, Sky Sports News has been told.

Bournemouth will consider permanent transfer offers exceeding £80m with add-ons for midfielder Alex Scott during the January window. The 23-year-old England international has reportedly refused offers to sign a new contract, with his current deal set to expire in just over 18 months. Chelsea and Liverpool retain serious interest in Scott, who is ambitious to explore opportunities with larger clubs despite not actively agitating for an exit.
Bournemouth's openness to a January sale may depend on their Premier League safety, as they remain winless this season. Meanwhile, head coach Marco Rose publicly insisted Scott remains fully committed to the club. Scott is currently sidelined for several weeks after aggravating a thigh tendon injury during his full England debut.
