Floyd Samba interview: Man City youngster on family and his future – ‘have to wait’

Manchester City youngster Floyd Samba reflected on his family and career following an impressive debut in a 5-0 Carabao Cup victory over Championship opposition. Deployed in an unfamiliar false nine role, the 17-year-old scored two goals, netting the opener with a header and adding the fourth goal of the match.

Samba highlighted the influence of his father, former professional footballer Christopher Samba, as well as the support of his mother and brothers. His older brother Tyrone and younger brother Emerson are also developing within the Manchester City academy system.
