Former Manchester City prospect George Glendon will hope to reach the FA Cup first round with Bury this weekend

Bury midfielder George Glendon is preparing for an FA Cup clash against Harrogate at Gigg Lane, aiming to reach the first round proper. Following the lunchtime fixture, the former Manchester City academy captain plans to travel directly to the Etihad Stadium to watch City play Ipswich in the Premier League.
Glendon joined Bury from Radcliffe Borough over the summer, having previously seen a 2019 move collapse when the club folded. Bury will earn £9,375 from the prize fund with a win against Harrogate, along with broadcast revenue from BBC Sport.
