Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca gave updates on two players after the Premier League defeat to Aston Villa…

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca provided updates on Matheus Nunes and Iliman Ndiaye following the team's defeat against Aston Villa at Villa Park. Maresca revealed that defender Matheus Nunes, who missed the fixture, could return for City's upcoming clash against Brighton. Additionally, the manager dismissed concerns over Iliman Ndiaye, confirming his second-half substitution was merely due to cramp and fatigue.
City also coped with the absence of Antoine Semenyo, who faces a two-month spell on the sidelines. During the match, Ndiaye assisted Erling Haaland for an equalizer before making way for 18-year-old Ryan McAidoo. Manchester City now turn their attention to hosting Brighton at the Etihad Stadium in both the Carabao Cup and the Premier League.
